Early wake up in the morning for a transfer to enjoy the sunrise over the Angkor Temple then you discover the Angkor Wat, a temple complex built for king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city. After breakfast at hotel you continue to explore the ruins including the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the Preah Khan temple. In the afternoon you explore the fabulous Ta Prohm temple which embraced by fig and silk-cotton trees puncture the roofs of Ta Prohm’s towers. End of the day you will enjoy the sunset at the Preah Rup temple.

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Banteay Srei, constructed at the late 10th century by a Brahmin counselor under a powerking Rajendarvarman. It was loosely translated to citadel of the woman, but it is a modern appellation that probably refers to the delicate beauty of the carvings. Visit Preah Khan temple, built by King Jayavarman VII dedicated to his father. It is a huge, highly exportable monastic complex, and served as a Buddhist monastery and school, engaging over 1000 monks. Continue to Neak Pean, a small island temple located in the middle of the last Baray, constructed by a Khmer king in the Angkor area.

Today, you leave Siem Reap for the Preah Vihear province. On the way stop to Discover the long abandoned temples of Koh Ker in the forests of northern Cambodia. Also known as Chok Gargyar, it served as the capital of Jayavarman IV (reigned 928-42). A trip to Koh Ker brings you deep into the Cambodian countryside and way back in time, Then proceed your way to Preah Vihear, where you will stay overnight at Saem district.

Early wake-up for a transfer by local pickup truck to the temple to visit the Preah Vihear temple located at the top of the Damrek Mountains. Return to the hotel for a freshen up and then you drive to Kampong Thom. Some stops along the way to enjoy the scenery and visit local houses. Hotel check-in and time to relax.

After breakfast you visit the Sambor Prei Kuk complex temples dated from the 6th-7th century and considered the oldest temples in Cambodia.
