Visit the historic Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside, closed in the afternoon), an imposing monument of marble and granite built to house the preserved body of beloved revolutionary leader Ho Chi Minh, affectionately known to the Vietnamese as “Uncle Ho”. Visit the One Pillar Pagoda, a Buddhist temple built in 1049 of wood in the shape of a lotus blossom and set on a single stone pillar. Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university built in the late 11th century. The picturesque temple is an example of well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture and is featured on the back of the 100,000 Vietnamese dong banknote.

Then you will Trang An Complex – stretching a total area of more than 2,168 hectares on 8 communes in Hoa Lu and Gia Vien districts in Ninh Binh City, Trang An is a complex of Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel preserved area a center area, grottoes, and Bai Dinh Pagoda.

There are 47 grottos and caves, 31 valleys and the hallowed cultural area of Bai Dinh Pagoda inside the Trang An scenic landscape complex. Take a leisurely cruise around the area, tourists can be imagined as kings from ancient times who use the mountains as walls, the rivers as roads and the caves as palaces.

Finally, you will discover Mua Cave – with amazing overview and impressive 500 step to the rooftop.

Dinner at local restaurant.

Breakfast at hotel, then you will transfer to Ha Long Bay.

11.30 – 12.00 Upon arrival at Emperor Cruises, located at No.28 of Tuan Chau International Marina, our team will welcome you in our lounge before boarding.

12.15 – 12.30 Our Cruise Director will assist you with boarding to start cruising in Halong Bay.

13.15 – 14.00 A set lunch menu will be served at our Can Chanh Palace Restaurant on the sundeck. Enjoy delicious Vietnamese food while admiring the grace of the bay.

16.00 – 17.00 The cruises vessel approaches Dark and Bright Cave Area – a natural frontier between Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay for anchorage. This is free time for Guests to simply swim in the clear water or paddle on colorful kayaks to explore the stunning landscape of Halong Bay.

17.30 – 18.30 Attend the Afternoon tea with music and Canapes on Sundeck and join in the cooking demonstration and try your skills in the art of traditional Vietnamese cooking in a truly stunning setting.

19.30 – 21.00 Enjoy our A La Carte course menu for dinner at Royal Palace Restaurant on board as you experience the charm of Halong Bay at night.

21.00 – 22.00 Try your luck with interesting activity at night – Squid fishing at Rang Dua Area.

09.00 – 13.30 Transfer to a speedboat to visit Viet Hai Village. Take a bicycle ride or electric car through a rainforest tunnel that leads to a rice-field vista. Visit a traditional house in a village deep in a national park where you can observe the lifestyle of the local people and enjoy lunch on the village. Back to the speedboat to visit Lan Ha Bay.

13:30 – 15.00 Visit Lan Ha Bay where you can go bamboo boating or kayaking at Ba Ham Lake, enclosed by vertical cliffs (if the weather permits) or back to Ba Trai Dao beaches

16.00 – 17.00 Enjoy massage service or join special tour of art and history about Pham Luc’s paintings or Emperor Bao Dai’s palaces.

Then in the late afternoon, you will discover Hoi An Ancient town.

You will have free time. Then you will have the chance to immerse yourself in the tranquility and charm of this sleepy riverside town. From the 16th to 18th centuries Hoi An was a thriving international port frequented by Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab traders, who came to trade in the high quality silk which is still produced in the region. Today, Hoi An is a relaxing resort popular with tourists for its eclectic architecture, skilled tailors and numerous cafes.

Take a half-day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the ancient town centre, visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Hall, the 200-year old Tam Ky ancestral house and the famous Japanese Bridge.
